When bots go wild

This tickled me. Much more than it should, but hey ho. I’ve just worked a 12-hour night shift and I’m ever so slightly delirious.

So, I penned and published a piece on homelessness and rough sleeping in London. As you may know, Medium has bots which take a first look at your article to see if it meets the criteria for distribution. If so, it is then passed to a human to check. The bot assigns potential distribution topics to aid the human.

In this case, it got it wrong. Or right. I suppose I did do a bit of travelling around London when I was looking for a dry place to bed down for the night. I’m not sure Judith Chalmers will be popping up any time soon to review my travel adventures though…

Anyway, it amused me. So there.
