I have a bog-standard iPhone 12. I love this phone, it does exactly what an iPhone should do, which means it is intuitive to operate and buttery smooth. So why stick a beta update on it? Because I just can’t help myself. Thankfully, the public beta has had no major blips reported, and thus far I haven't experienced any issues with beta 4 either.

The New Weather App

If you’ve been a Dark Sky weather app user, you’ll be familiar with the updated weather app. Apple has bought Dark Sky, and the updated iOS weather app has benefited from this acquisition. It is a simply beautiful app and packed full of information.

I particularly like the weather radar. Watch in awe as those rain clouds head in your direction. Us Brits are renowned for our love of weather as a conversation starter, and this app gives you all the info you need to strike up that conversation with the person sat next to you on the tube. (Top tip, don’t do this on the tube, London folk with think you’ve just escaped from the local Lunatic Asylum).
